Ellicott City hosted its Harvest Hootenanny Fall Festival on Saturday, October 20th, 2018. The event featured local bands, local restaurants, and many fun-filled events throughout the day.

Food booths were scattered around the area during the festival. All of the food came from Ellicott City restaurants, including the Wine Bin, La Palapa, and more.

The festival included a music performance by local band, Work in Progress. The band performed an hour-long set during the afternoon.

Festival-goers danced along to the music playing throughout the day. This little music lover was strutting her dance moves during one of the concerts.

One of the many activities throughout the day included a pet costume competition. Many Ellicott City residents brought their furry friends to the festival to show off their creative costumes.

Store owner, Debbie Goodman, reserved a booth at the festival in order to sell some of her desserts. She owns the Sugar Thumbs Bakery, which is a farm to table bakery in Howard County.

Many booths at the festivals featured decorations and apparel that showed the phrase #ECstrong. This hashtag was plastered all around the festival in order to unite the town after the recent fatal flash flood that occurred over the summer.
