Cheers of “Love Trumps Hate” filled McKeldin Mall Friday, Nov. 11 as a mass of students and community members marched in protest of President-elect Donald Trump’s normalization of sexual assault.

The protest, organized by this university’s Our Revolution chapter, involved numerous student speakers who shared personal testimonies, offered encouragement to survivors and challenged university policy on sexual assault awareness, education and prevention.

Protestors were encouraged to bring an article of clothing to leave at the steps of McKeldin Library and proceed to march across the mall to the Administration Building and deliver a letter of their demands to university president Wallace Loh.
