The Frights, SWMRS and Fidlar rocked D.C.’s Howard Theatre Thursday night. The theatre’s usual extravagant interior, decorated more for a classical orchestra, shook at the mercy of relentless drumming, vicious guitars and a rowdy crowd.
The bands, in turn, took time to address the outcome of Tuesday’s election, promising that the venue was a safe, happy space for the evening.
Fans left the show feeling uplifted with the understanding that now, more than ever, we need to love and protect each other.
